Superlist Animal Welfare in the Netherlands compares Dutch supermarkets bi-annualy on their contribution to an animal friendly food system. The eight largest supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Aldi, Coop, Dirk, Ekoplaza, Jumbo,  Lidl and Plus) are compared on how they encourage the sale of more animal-friendly food products and how they discourage the consumption of animal products overall.

In partnership with Unicef, this project researches the child friendliness of supermarkets. In a child friendly supermarket, the needs, priorities and rights of children are an integral component in supermarkets' policy, assortment and promotions. Considering 1 in 8 children is overweight or obese, a justified question is: to what extent do Dutch supermarkets support children to eat healthy?
