Last week we saw the grassroot movement for a food environment that supports more plant-based diets, become global!

Brazilian professor Germano Glufke Reis organized a Round Table where our director at Questionmark shared knowledge on North-Western European supermarkets performance on the protein transition, Oxford researcher Brian Cook shared findings from an experiment in British retailer Sainsbury’s to reduce sales of meat and Brazilian professor Eduardo Villar shared insights on the meat vs plant-based offer and marketing in Brazilian supermarkets.

Our conclusion of the Round Table: both in the North and the South there’s still a long way to go, but the small changes we saw have become an irreversible trend. And the movement to speed up the trend is growing fast.
