Superlist Health in the Netherlands compares Dutch supermarkets bi-annualy on their contribution to a healthy food system. The seven largest supermarkets: Albert Heijn, Aldi, Dirk, Ekoplaza, Jumbo, Lidl and Plus are compared on their policies, assortment, promotions and store design.

Not all Dutch supermarkets make healthy food choices equally easy
Supermarkets have the intention to facilitate healthy food choices. However, no supermarket has set adequate goals for the sale of healthy food. Unhealthy food dominates in the promotion folders: 82% of food products in the promotion folders are unhealthy. The shop design does not focus much on the healthy choice.
