Which Dutch supermarket makes healthy food the easy choice?

Superlist Health in the Netherlands compares Dutch supermarkets bi-annualy on their contribution to a healthy food systeme. The seven largest supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Aldi, Dirk, Ekoplaza, Jumbo,  Lidl and Plus) are compared on their policies, assortment, promotions and store design. This is the second edition of Superlist Health in the Netherlands and compares the findings to two years ago.

The Dutch supermarket is not yet a healthy food environment

Supermarkets are doing little to make healthy eating easy. Promotions, assortment and shop design make unhealthy choices appealing. Measures to encourage the healthy choice are largely absent or not able to be judged, both in practice and in policy.
